Buying an automatic steering system is not a small investment, so before making this decision, many farmers ask similar questions. That's why we prepared a list of the most frequently asked questions about NanoSteer agricultural navigation to clear up any doubts you might have.
Will the navigation system fit my tractor?
Yes, our navigation system is a universal automatic steering system that can be installed on most tractors and combines from various brands.
The system mainly works with brands such as:
- John Deere

- Valtra
- Deutz-Fahr
- Kubota

Is the installation difficult?
No, most people choose to install it themselves, which literally takes just a few hours. The complete kit includes all the essential components needed for installation:
- electric steering wheel,
- GNSS receiver,
- 10.1" tablet,
- wiring harness,
- mounting brackets,

What happens if I lose Internet connection?
It definitely doesn’t mean the end of work. Our navigation has two systems: RTK and PPP. This means that even if you lose Internet signal, the device automatically switches to the satellite system, which works even on very tough terrain with weak signal.
How accurate is the PWL navigation?
Using the RTK signal, the guidance accuracy is up to 2.5 cm.
Thanks to this, it’s possible to do very precise:
- sowing,
- planting,
- fertilizing,
- spraying,
- inter-row cultivation,
- many other field works.
Can I transfer the setup from one tractor to another?
Yes, that’s one of the biggest advantages of the automatic guidance system. By purchasing the appropriate hub and cables, you can transfer the setup to another machine in a short time.
Do I need a steering angle sensor?
In most cases, such a sensor is not necessary. It’s mainly recommended when working at very low speeds (below 1 km/h), at higher working speeds, or in machines with a lot of play in the steering system.
What features does NanoSteer navigation offer?
The system is equipped with, among other things:

- curve guidance,

- tilt compensation thanks to IMU,

It definitely doesn't mean lower quality. We offer a system based on proven components, sold without an extensive network of intermediaries. This way, we reduce distribution costs and can offer our system at an attractive price. Our goal from the start was to create a system that everyone can afford: small farms as well as large enterprises.
